By accepting our terms and conditions you understand that once your cupcakes leave Sweet Bites Cakes, we are unable to control their journey to you. All cupcakes are packaged securely in the way they would be assembled for collection at the shop, and the courier drivers are aware that they are a fragile item, but there is risk involved when choosing our delivery option. For your own peace of mind, we do recommend collection if possible, but this is not to say that your order won’t turn up in perfect condition; we are just unable to promise this once they leave Sweet Bites Cakes.
Delivery windows are based on a 3-hour time slot. We try our best to ensure that this time frame is honoured, but as we use an externally sourced delivery company, this time frame can be compromised dependent on undetermined factors such as traffic delays etc. Couriers are booked as soon as your order is placed, to make sure our best effort is made to have your order arrive on time. To avoid delivery issues, you are more than welcome to collect your order from our Henderson Store.
If you are gifting cupcakes via delivery, we’re able to notify the courier company at your request that the order can be left at the delivery premises if no one is there. As our cupcake packaging is not completely air sealed, we cannot take responsibility for the cupcakes safety/state if left at the requested address. We highly recommend ensuring that someone is at the delivery address to sign for or receive the cupcakes before ordering.
If you need to change the date or details of your order please contact us as far in advance as possible. Once a cake has been ordered, no changes to the design will be accepted within 4 weeks of your function.
Once a deposit or full payment has been made, if you cancel your order NO refund will be given, however we can at our discretion offer a credit towards another order, which must be used within 6 months of the credit being issued.
Extreme high temperatures and humidity due to weather conditions and the lack of a cool environment can affect the condition of the cake. We cannot be held responsible for unfavourable conditions outside of our premises. Please bear this in mind if you plan to have your cake sitting for a long period of time in these types of weather conditions.
Should we be unable for any reason to fulfil your order then we will notify you by phone or email as soon as possible and you will receive a full refund or alternatively you can choose another product to the same value.
